Valets Make Service a Priority
Tuesday, June 25, 2013
As Downtown Auto Parking has grown over the past 35 years, we recently reflected on some of our most unique operations. The majority of our continuous valet accounts consist of restaurants, bars, and hotels; but one account is a little different from all of the rest. The Waukesha Memorial Hospital stands as one of our most unique valet accounts.
Valet service is just that – a service. We strive to provide the best and most hospitable service for each and every guest who parks with us. Service takes on a whole new meaning when working at a hospital. A variety of people come through the doors at Waukesha Memorial Hospital - the healthy, the ill and their families, and everyone in between.
As a valet service provider, it is our mission to make sure parking is the least of their worries during a tough time. Recently, a patient of the hospital, Carole Kuehnhold, contacted us to share her thoughts and feelings about her valet experience by saying, “I attend long therapy, twice a week with a walker and oxygen tank. The valets at the East Entry know who I am and all I have to do is pull up and they are always there to assist me in every way. I honestly don't know what I would do without them.”
We would like to thank Carole for her kind words and wish her all the best. In addition we would like to congratulate valets Luis and Francisco for their dedication to provide such helpful service to those who need it the most, following one of the hospital's tenets of "leading with excellent service, respect, and compassion."
