Judy Panacek and Bill Shepherd originally founded Downtown Auto Parking in 1978 under the name J&B Parking Inc. Since then, our company has been built around a simple concept: Individualized parking solutions with one-on-one attention to our customers. Over 40 years later we have continued that philosophy.

In the 1980’s Judy acquired the company and renamed it to Downtown Auto Parks Inc. In 2005 Downtown Auto Parking, LLC, as we know it today, was born when Gail Hesiak took over the company after working in the business for most of her adult life. Our locations have changed, and the parking lots we managed in the past have developed into skyscrapers, but we continue to grow and adapt alongside Milwaukee.

We have had the privilege to be present every step of the way in Milwaukee’s history, whether it be providing valet service for the opening of the Bradley Center in 1988, New Year’s Eve at the turn of the Millennium at the (then called) Midwest Airlines Center, or the retirement of the Rockwell Automation CEO at the Milwaukee Art Museum. We are proud to be a helping hand in Milwaukee history and look forward to being a part of its future.
